We are pleased to announce the launch of the second Digital Insights volume for Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in Cambodia. Its title is “E-governance in Cambodia”.
Worldacquire’s Christopher Treshan Perera is co-editor and managed the research, technology and quality review for the team of 15 local and international researchers.
“Our research team’s findings provide vital lessons and innovative solutions not only for Cambodia and Southeast Asia, but for developing and developed countries all around the world”, said Christopher.
“The use of digital technology in government and the public sector is a new and unfamiliar ground. The ethical issues highlighted by the Cambridge Analytica and AggregateIQ scandals are only the tip of the iceberg. If poorly understood, digital technology can be used against the interests of governance and society as a whole”
“But if used the right way, digitally enhanced government can benefit everyone. The question we try to explore is how to create balance and win-win situations for all stakeholders.”
The full volume can be read online on the KAS website here.
Topics covered include improving the education and healthcare sector, balancing cybersecurity law and liberty, using data-driven technology in government, improving trust in government, and lessons from around the world.
Worldacquire provides digital technology, analysis and media solutions for politics, government and social impact enterprises. We also contributed to the first Digital Insights volume of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung as data researchers and editors.
